Career enrichment and sustainability

The primary aim of AAG’s Employment Readiness Services is to enhance an individual's employability in an integrated community setting. This will be achieved through various strategies, including volunteer work, which will help persons enroll in the development of non-job-task-specific strengths and employment-related skills essential for successful paid employment in the community. Employment remains a cornerstone to all of AAG’s programs, we do more than place persons in rewarding job positions. We prepare them for the workplace and provide ongoing support to ensure that employment outcomes are successful for both employees and employers. Autism Ally Group capitalizes on what people can do and have consistently demonstrated that persons with severe disabilities can be highly productive citizens when given the opportunity.

Workforce Readiness

The Workforce Readiness training is for neurodiverse adults who have little or no work experience, or who have been out of the workforce for an extended period. We aim to support you gain the skills necessary to receive and sustain employment. Future employees learn valuable workplace traits and behaviors and effective job search skills, including resume building and interview techniques.

Job Placements

Partnering with the Division of Rehabilitation Services, and our network of community businesses, Autism Ally’s employment team positions the jobseeker successfully creating a perfect job match for employees and employers. At AAG, we find a job that is a good fit for you, with an employer who values and needs the talents you have to offer.

Job Support

On-the-job supports provides neurodiverse employees assistance in maintaining integrated competitive employment in a community setting. Ensuring that natural supports at the worksite are secured through interaction with supervisors and staff. Our team secures the training of the employee and the employer, encouraging a peer-to-peer environment to increase the participant’s inclusion at the worksite.
